Daniel Winder is a London based director and producer working in theatre and TV.

For Iris Theatre upcoming projects include; the Summer Repertory Season in June 2010; which involves a revival of 2009's Romeo & Juliet, which was a huge success gaining 5 star reviews and plenty of media coverage and a new production of Wind in the Willows. In Septempber Dan will also be directing Iris' second opera, Purcell's Dido & Aeneas.

V.E.T.: As a Visiting Director with the Vienna English Theatre he recently directed a touring version of Macbeth for Winter 2009 / 2010.

Shakespeare in Styria: Dan's relationship with the festival goes back to 2006. Over that time he has been variously Director, Movement Director and Artistic Director of the Shakespeare in Styria festival. In 2010 he returns as an Associate Director for a production of King Lear.

Lipsinkers : Dan regularly does lights and sounds as well as occassionally directing numbers for the Lipsinkers, London's cabaret stars.

T.V & Film: He is currently working as a Casting Director on 11LittleFilms new feature film project Senet. He has acted as casting director on Paper Mannequin Productions' Film Short Home Sweet Home and in 2009 was the production manager for Circushead Productions TV sitcom pilot 'I Wanna Be Adored'.

Future Work: With the playwright Ben Polya he is looking at a project based on Camus' The Just. With Movement Director Eissavet Aravidou he is exploring a project based around the myths of Icarus and the Minotaur. With Circushead he is exploring a new feature film project.
