Key Stage 2 Primary School Workshop

A Midsummer Night's Dream 2011

Using the music, props and costumes from our production we will take the children into the many worlds of A Midsummer Night's Dream.

In the dark forest we will join the Fairy band of Titania and Oberon, maybe learn a fairy song and even create our own fairy !

In the court of Duke Theseus we will dance a court jig.

With Bottom and the mechanicals we will all act out the tragic comic story of Pyramus & Thisbe with the children taking the parts of the Wall, the Lion, Moonshine and all the rest.

Using a range of games and activities this workshop will introduce the characters and plot of A Midsummer Night Dream to your pupils whilst exposing them to some of Shakespeare's most accessible language in a fun way.
