OVERVIEW
Tom was born in
Leeds and brought up in Plymouth, Glasgow, and
North London. He joined The Harrow Youth Theatre and studied
at Rose Bruford College. His professional experience began at
Lincoln’s Theatre Royal in Anouilh’s Becket. He has been in the
Bristol Old Vic and the National Theatre companies and worked
with Sir Derek Jacobi in Breaking the Code, Richard II/Richard III
& Hadrian VII. Recital work is a special interest; Tom has recently
recorded an Auden sequence, Horae Canonicae, for BBC Radio 3
on Good Friday.
Film and TV includes: Hitchcock’s Frenzy, Poirot, Nicholas Nickleby,
Woman in White and Anno Domini.
He frequently reads for BBC Radio Arts.
