Introduction
Laura grew up in Buckinghamshire and studied Art Foundation in
High Wycombe, she then decided to study Theatre Design at
RWCMD, graduating in the summer of 2006. The shows that Laurahas designed
during her time as a theatre designer include, Blue
Remembered Hills and Dido and Aeneas at the Sherman Theatreand Tartuffe at the
Bristol Old Vic. Closer Than Ever at the Bridewell Theatre, The Crucible and
Opera Scenes in the Bute Theatre and was location and set designer on the
short film Footsteps. Future projects include Fiddler on the Roof at the
Bridewell Theatre.

Personal Profile
Three years of intensive training in both Cardiff and Bulgaria produced a
desire to extend the barriers of theatre design by pushing the accepted norm
and developing imaginative ideas for theatre. An ability to faithfully
represent directors briefs, with strong interpersonal skills and a
professional image is used to inspire teamwork and bring confidence and a high
quality finish to the productions.
