NWLeading Patron, world famous producer Thelma Holt, said 'it is a privilege to be supporting a company that is treating the Bard as if he is in the Green Room, waiting to give notes.  It shows and I admire it.'

History & Charitable Aims:

Iris Theatre was created in 2007 to produce a production of T.S. Eliot’s Murder in the Cathedral at the world famous St. Paul’s Church in Covent Garden, right in the heart of Central London. The success of that production led on to further shows, more success, and a dynamic company which has grown year on year. We gained full charity status in Oct 2009 with a mission to support the development of the next generation of professional theatre practitioners across all theatre forms. Our artist participants include actors, musicians, opera singers, producers, directors, writers, composers, lyricists, theatre designers, lighting designers, stage technicians and stage managers, who all have the chance to work in a central London venue with a high level of exposure.

Today the company is firmly routed within the West End theatre environment. We produce a fresh and vibrant repertoire of varied work resulting in affordable and accessible theatre catering to all age ranges right in the heart of London. Our collaborative approach explores performance of all styles (from classical theatre to circus-style acrobatics) working as a cohesive whole.
